Exciting News: A New Chapter in Medical Education

MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL CASTRO MD FACP

After almost 27 wonderful years of serving our community, I am announcing both bittersweet and exciting news. Arrowhead Internal Medicine, P.C. will be closing its doors as of August 23rd, 2024.

Serving you and your families has been the honor of my career, and this decision was not made lightly. However, this closure marks the beginning of a new chapter in my professional journey.

I am honored to announce that I have assumed the role of Program Director for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Internal Medicine Residency Program at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, furthering my commitment to the education and mentorship of future generations of medical professionals.

This new role represents an opportunity to shape the next generation of physicians, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide compassionate and high-quality care to their patients.

I remain deeply grateful to the colleagues, mentors, and students who have inspired me throughout my career. Together, we will continue to advance the field of medicine and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
